Club Background & Sponsorship Opportunities

Welcome to City of Swansea Aquatics.  We are a competitive swimming club, formed in 1919. Our members range from 6 year olds to Masters swimmers and number over 250.  The club is affiliated to Swim Wales and is a Performance 4 Dragon Mark accredited club. We have swimmers ranging from Skills groups through to International Level in 12 competitive squads.

City of Swansea Aquatics have a number of very promising Age Group, Youth and Senior swimmers as indicated by our exceptional results at the British National Age Group and Youth Championships and the Welsh Regional Nationals.  We have swimmers on all Welsh squads ranging from Paralympics, Commonwealth Games, Senior Elite through to the Youth and Regional Development squads and 4 swimmers represented Great Britain. Aaron Moores MBE took Gold in the 2016 Paralympics and Daniel Jervis and Ellena Jones represented the club on Team Wales at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014, with Dan producing a stunning swim in the 1500m freestyle to snatch a bronze medal.  We compete in a number of leagues and competitions giving us local, regional, national and international level exposure.  In the National Arena Premier League, our swimmers travel further afield sometimes as far west as Plymouth to compete against clubs from all over the South West and Dorset and Wiltshire regions.  We are always placed in the Top 8 in the South West region. We also have a team in Division One for the Arena League in the same region.

In addition to these leagues, we compete at regular Swim Wales Open meets at the Wales National Pool Swansea, other local competitions and the National Age Group and Youth Championships in Sheffield.  Additionally, we usually have solid representation at the senior British Championships each year.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at any level and can be discussed with the Chairman Andrew Thompson. Please contact him by email for further information :
